Terms and Conditions
Ownership and rights: I assert that I am the sole owner and creator of the donated artwork(s) and hold all rights, including but not limited to copyright, reproduction, and distribution rights.
Purpose of donation: I agree that the donated artwork(s) will be used by the Kootenay Family Place for fundraising or promotional purposes in alignment with the mission and goals of the organization.
Media Release: I hereby grant Kootenay Family Place the right to use images of the donated artwork(s) for promotional and publicity purposes, including but not limited to, press releases, social media, newsletters, and website content. Kootenay Family Place agrees to credit the me whenever and wherever feasible when using such images.
Delivery and display: I will deliver the donated artwork(s) to Kootenay Family Place or a member of Kootenay Family Place will pick up the donated artwork(s) prior to November 14, 2025. Kootenay Family Place agrees to prominently display the artwork(s) in a secure and appropriate manner, ensuring their safety and visibility to the public.
Acknowledgement: Kootenay Family Place agrees to provide me with a written acknowledgment of the donation for tax purposes upon request. I understand that I may not be granted the dollar amount of sponsorship I am requesting and that sponsorship payments are contingent on community sponsorship. In the event that this happens, I am not obligated to proceed with my donation.
Non-monetary consideration: Both parties acknowledge that this donation is made without monetary compensation and is solely for the purpose of supporting Kootenay Family Place’s mission.
Governing law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, without regard to it’s conflict of law principles.
